FOOD PRODUCTS MADE
IN CHINA

How Does Chinese Food Production and Distribution
Impact US Consumers and Florida Residents?
-
In
the United States, most canned mandarin orange products are
manufactured in China. That means the mandarin oranges you
placed on your salad, from the salad bar, are likely grown and
canned in
China.
-
Many of the small apple juice
containers packaged for children, that look like small cubes and
include tiny
straws, and sold throughout the United States, are manufactured
in China. You would hope that with the orange groves in Florida and California, that the USA could at least make its
own canned oranges. For health and commercial reasons,
please insist that your grocery store carry canned orange
products made in the USA. Of course, we all prefer oranges
grown in Florida.
-
L-cysteine, an amino acid derived from human
hair is harvested in China. Human hair, from all parts of
the body, is used to source this protein. This amino acid
is used to boost protein levels in bread sold in the United
States. Please look at the ingredients. If it lists
L-cysteine, you're eating bread laced with an amino acid that
comes from human hair--from China. The hair is gathered
from the floors of barbershops and hair salons in China, and the
morgue. Duck feathers are also used to produce this amino
acid.

Go to your local grocery store and check out
the list of ingredients.
-
Do a search of the ingredients of your local
fast food restaurant (hot apple pies, buns, cinnamon rolls,
etc.)

Years ago, visiting a Chinese food buffet
meant that the food was grown or canned in the United States,
and then prepared to taste, and served. Now, many of those
ingredients such as mushrooms, baby corn, and water chestnuts
are actually grown and canned in China, and shipped to the
United States. Turn the can and pay attention to where it
was manufactured. Although the canned product was
distributed from a company in New Jersey or New York, the
product likely came from China. Do you know what you're
eating? The healthiest sources of Asian products originate
from the USA, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and India.

Cuba's cancer rate is increasing
dramatically. This is due to the large scale purchasing of
inexpensive staple products from China. The Chinese food
products shipped to Cuba contain high levels of beryllium,
lead, mercury and many industrial substances that may contribute to
the onset of
cancer. Twenty-five percent of China's farmland is
polluted from industrial dumping and runoff. Since the environmental pollution is pervasive in
China, and food products are grown in poisonous soil, China is
effectively exporting their pollution to other countries.
As a result, the human waste excreted also contains these
contaminants and end up in the soil and water. Finally, the human
body, containing these contaminants, is buried or cremated.
Comments
-
Armed with targeted reporting within an industry,
entrepreneurs are presented with the opportunity to advanced their
agricultural and business interests. Industrial intelligence
is a key source of opportunity and exposure. A competitor's
cost cutting measures in sourcing from polluted supply chains
translates to opportunity for organic food production.
-
The rise of Chinese mercantilism, combined with
the realities of modern food production, present real opportunities
for American farmers and organic food distributors.
-
Threats to your personal security sometimes pale
in comparison to what you bring into your own home. There are
times that our own purchases and consumption cause the problems we
seek to avoid. What we purchase and eat may be cancer on an
installment plan. Encouraging a consumer's awareness of these
issues brings opportunity for distributors of high quality and safe
products.
